From Dance to Design

Everything a ballet dancer attempts to achieve begins and ends with a demi-pliΓ©: a half bend at the knees. As one of the simplest steps in dance, I consider it one of the most important.

As a dancer pliΓ©s, the mind clears, bringing awareness to every muscle as the body aligns and opensβ€”ready to explore the freedom of movement. From soft transitional steps, to fluid turns and explosive leaps, they all rely on this quietly powerful movement. Without it, there is no dance.

The debut collection channels this motif in the marquise diamondβ€”a symbol that balances both the beginning and the end. It encapsulates connectedness and possibility, reminding us that no matter how small or simple our beginnings are, we can be compelled to do something greater.Β
